Introducing mindful MATERIALS’ Collaboration Hub

mindful MATERIALS, the nonprofit dedicated to reducing, and ultimately reversing, the embodied impacts of the built environment, proudly unveils its latest initiative: a members’ only Collaboration Hub. This digital platform is designed to empower mM members with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge and resources related to all things sustainable materials. While the current mindful MATERIALS Portal (powered by ecomedes) serves as a place to connect with product data structured within the Common Materials Framework, the Collaboration Hub will serve as a place to connect with other people across disciplines throughout the mindful MATERIALS community.

Over the past 10 years, a vibrant mix of professionals from all aspects of the built environment have been involved in the mindful MATERIALS movement. The Hub will serve as a dynamic virtual space where members can interact with peers from across the globe, leveraging the collective genius and experience of the broader mM Community to build resources and advocacy tools to advance the proliferation of sustainable building product choices.

Key features include:

Global Member Directory Map: Gain access to an extensive network of like-minded individuals through our interactive global member directory map. Discover peers in your area or connect with experts from diverse backgrounds across continents.

Message Boards: Engage in meaningful discussions and exchange valuable insights on dedicated message boards. Whether you're seeking advice, sharing expertise, or exploring new ideas, our message boards provide a lively platform for collaborative discourse.

Working and Engagement Groups: Join forces with fellow members through our working and engagement groups to address pressing challenges and drive impactful change in your community and beyond. From sustainability initiatives to community outreach programs, our working groups provide a platform to turn ideas into action.

As the Hub evolves, future enhancements will include member resource sharing and an integrated learning management system.

"The launch of the Collaboration Hub represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation across the built environment," says Laurel Chądzyński, mindful MATERIALS’ Vice President of Engagement. "Market shift doesn’t happen in a vacuum. By providing our members with a dedicated platform to connect, share, and collaborate asynchronously, we can build the momentum necessary to advance a clear market signal for materials that prioritize health holistically.”

The Collaboration Hub is available to all mindful MATERIALS’ members. For more information about becoming a member visit https://www.mindfulmaterials.com/membership-sponsorship
