As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we're committed to reducing and reversing the embodied impacts of buildings through collective material choices. mindful Materials’ mission is to reverse the embodied impacts of the built environment by driving the use of regenerative and restorative building products that meet an industry-aligned framework —the Common Materials Framework.
Mindful MATERIALS furthers its mission by facilitating global cross-sector collaboration to accelerate the adoption of the Common Materials Framework and its digitization in industry tools. Our goal is to enable a world where the full, embodied impacts of building products—on both people and the planet—can be clearly quantified. By organizing and digitizing this data, we equip investors and developers with the insights they need to evaluate climate and human health risks more effectively. This kind of structured, accessible information supports smarter decision-making across the entire building lifecycle. Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director
An experienced Chief Operations Officer/Executive Director to expand the Executive Leadership Team of mM’s growing charitable non-profit organization. The COO/ED will work hand in hand with mM’s Board of Directors and current CEO (who will transition to the organization’s Chief Strategy Officer upon hiring of the COO/ED). If you’ve had experience supporting the development of internal systems, policies, governance, and structures and want to use these skills to scale impact reduction in a fast-paced, growth and impact-oriented non-profit, this could be the position for you.
