(“mindful MATERIALS”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects when you use the mindful MATERIALS website at https://www.mindfulmaterials.com/ (the “Website”), how we use this information, with whom we share it, and the choices you have in connection with this.

Through your use of the Website, mindful MATERIALS will collect personal information, which is information that identifies you directly or indirectly as outlined below.

As you use the Website, mindful MATERIALS will collect personal information when you:

Contact Us: When you contact us with a question or inquiry through our “Contact” form, we collect, from you, your identifiers (name, company name, email address, phone number) and any other information you choose to include in your correspondence. We use this personal information to respond to your questions or inquiries, troubleshoot where necessary, address any topics you inquire about, and send you marketing emails. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website. 

  2. Sign up to receive news and updates from mindful MATERIALS: When you sign up for our news and updates communications, we will collect your identifiers (email address). We use this information to send you marketing emails, including news and updates about mindful MATERIALS. You may opt-out of receiving these communications from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. 

  3. Donate: When you choose to donate, we will collect your identifiers (name, company, address, telephone number, email address) and payment information (account number and routing number, or payment card number, CVV, expiration date). We will use this information to process your donation, send you relevant tax information, and if you opt in, send you marketing emails. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website and your donations. 

  4. Become a sponsor: When you sign up to be a sponsor, we will collect your identifiers (business name, representative name and title, address, business phone number, website URL), profile photograph, sponsorship amount, selected add-ons, and payment information (account number and routing number, or payment card number, CVV, expiration date). We will use this information to process your sponsorship, communicate with you about your sponsorship, and if you opt in, send you marketing emails You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website and your sponsorship. 

  5. Become a member:

    1. When you sign up to be a user member, we will collect your identifiers (business name, representative name and title, address, business phone number, website URL), profile photograph, and payment information (account number and routing number, or payment card number, CVV, expiration date). We will use this information to process your membership dues, communicate with you about your membership, and if you opt in, send you marketing emails. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website and your membership. 

    2. When you sign up to be a manufacturer member, we will collect your identifiers (business name, representative name and title, address, business phone number, website URL), profile photograph, and payment information (account number and routing number, or payment card number, CVV, expiration date). We will use this information to process your membership, communicate with you about your membership, and if you opt-in, send you marketing emails. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website and your membership. 

 

  1. Join a mindful MATERIALS Working or Engagement Group: When you join a mindful MATERIAL working or engagement group, we will collect from you, your identifiers (name, organization name, email address, role in the industry), preferred engagement or working group, and how you heard about us. We will use this information to communicate with you about the group(s) and send you marketing communications. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website or your involvement in the group(s). 

  2. Register for a webinar or event: When you register for a webinar, we will collect your identifiers (name, email address, business name). If you sign up for an event, we will collect, through our third-party event provider, your identifiers (name and email address), and payment information (account number and routing number, or payment card number, CVV, expiration date). We will use this information to add you to the attendee list, process your payment, communicate with you about the webinar or event, and send you marketing communications. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website, or your webinar or event. 

  3. Sign a Pledge or Letter: When your business signs a pledge or letter, we will collect your identifiers (name and email address), company name (how you would like it to appear on the letter/pledge), your company’s website URL, and your company’s logo. We will use this information to add you to the letter/pledge as a signatory and include you in marketing materials related to the letter/pledge. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Website, or your letter or pledge. 

 

mindful MATERIALS may also use your personal information collected for the above purposes to efficiently maintain our business, to comply with the law, and for other limited circumstances as described in Section 3.03 How we share your information. 

  1. Information Collected Automatically 

In addition to the personal information you provide, when you use our Website, mindful MATERIALS automatically collects information via cookies and similar technologies, including internet and other network activity information. This information includes your:

Usage information: We use essential, performance, and analytics cookies to collect information about your interaction with our Website, such as what you access, what you click on, the frequency of access, and how much time you spend on the Website. We use this information to: (i) track you within the Website; (ii) enhance user experience; (iii) conduct analytics to improve the Website; (iv) prevent fraudulent use of the Website; and (v) diagnose and repair Website errors, and, in cases of abuse, track and mitigate the abuse.

We use this information to: (i) track you within the Website; (ii) enhance user experience; (iii) conduct analytics to improve the Website; (iv) prevent fraudulent use of the Website; and (v) diagnose and repair Website errors, and, in cases of abuse, track and mitigate the abuse. 

  3. Location information: We use essential, performance, and analytics cookies to collect information about your location, which may be determined through your IP address. We conduct analytics to improve the Website; (iv) prevent fraudulent use of the Website; and (v) diagnose and repair Website errors, and, in cases of abuse, track and mitigate the abuse. 

Particular third-party cookies on our Website to note include: 

  1. LinkedIn. We use LinkedIn analytics and advertising products for example to target advertising based on what is relevant to a user, to improve reporting on campaign performance and to avoid showing ads the user has already seen. LinkedIn will use the information collected in accordance with its User Agreement and Privacy Policy. You can visit LinkedIn Advertising Preferences to choose how data is used here. 

In general, to disable cookies and limit the collection and use of information through them, you can set your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. 

 

Section 3.03 How we share your information. 

  1. General Sharing. 

mindful MATERIALS may share the personal information identified in this Privacy Policy in the following instances: 

  1. Within mindful MATERIALS: Where necessary, mindful MATERIALS will share your personal information within mindful MATERIALS in order to efficiently carry out business and to the extent permitted by law. 

  2. With service providers: mindful MATERIALS will share your personal information with service providers that perform services on mindful MATERIALS’s behalf. These service providers include our IT support and security, event organizer provider, payment processor, and email provider. 

  3. In the event of a corporate reorganization: In the event that mindful MATERIALS enters into, or intends to enter into, a transaction that alters the structure of mindful MATERIALS, such as a reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, consolidation, transfer, change of control, or other disposition of all or any portion of our assets, mindful MATERIALS would share your personal information with third parties, including the buyer or target (and their agents and advisors) for the purpose of facilitating and completing the transaction.

For legal purposes: mindful MATERIALS will share your personal information where legally required, in response to court orders, law enforcement or legal process, including for national security purposes; to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights, as required to contracts; to defend against legal claims or demands; to detect, investigate, prevent, or take action against illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the rights, property, or personal safety of any person; or to comply with the requirements of any applicable law. 

 

Section 3.04 Do not track. 

We do not support Do Not Track (DNT). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. 

 

Section 3.05 Nevada residents.

If you are a consumer in the State of Nevada, you may request to opt-out of the current or future sale of your personal information. We do not currently sell any of your personal information under Nevada law, nor do we plan to do so in the future. However, you can submit a request to opt-out of future sales by contacting us at help@mindfulmaterials.com. Please include “Opt-Out Request Under Nevada Law” in the subject line of your message. 

 

Section 3.06 Information Security. 

mindful MATERIALS implements and maintains reasonable security measures to help protect the personal information that mindful MATERIALS collects and maintains. However, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent malicious attacks to our systems 100% of the time. 

 

Section 3.07 Age Restriction. 

The Website is not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18). 

 

Section 3.08 Changes to this privacy policy. 

mindful MATERIALS may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the changes to this page and indicate the date the changes go into effect. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to stay informed. If mindful MATERIALS make changes that materially affect your privacy rights, we will notify you with a prominent post on the Website and obtain your consent, if required.
